In late January, I [unexpectedly] went “sledding” with my garbage can down my driveway at 6:50am on “black ice”. Result was my garbage partner and I both landed in the middle of the street! I was able to get up, pick up the garbage bags and put the garbage can back on the curb, stem my bleeding enough to find a path up the yard to the house. I’ve had my Life Alert since 2006 and never have had to use the call button. How blessed I was to have it, how marvelously I was cared for by Mark and Frank, and transported to the Hospital. I can never begin to express how blessed I was to have Life Alert care. My experience these past ten days is as good as anyone could have. My 3 family members were called before I even reached the hospital. They each were then recontacted to tell them I was being transported to the Hospital, and later that day were contacted again. I have recommended to my friends why they too should have Life Alert. Two have gotten it and have been so thankful for it when they needed help. As a WWII nurse, I have never seen a system work as precisely and beautifully as that Friday in January! No one could ask for more! Thank you so very much. My doctors say it’s a miracle I did not have a broken neck, broken cheek and jawbone, plus a fractured kneecap, so I thank the Lord daily for his care and for my Life Alert and the two wonderful male attendants. Our town’s 460 residents are hearing all about Life Alert!

I awoke at a very early hour on May 13 with my head spinning and seeing great circles of colored lights on the wall. I waited for a few minutes for that to correct and when there was no change, I pushed my Life Alert. I was able to converse over my speaker, which is located across the hall from my bedroom. They went over my access instructions with me and within 3 to 4 minutes, there was a policeman coming through my unlocked laundry room door. Three EMT’s and an ambulance were there shortly and transported me to the hospital. From there I went by ambulance to another hospital and was scheduled the following day for a pacemaker.

I was playing with my 4 year old great granddaughter when our feet got tangled up and I went down on the living room carpet. I could not get up because the rug and my jeans held me. I pushed the [Life Alert] button on my bracelet and the EMS came in about 20 min and the EMS man got me right up without any trouble. Both of the EMS were very nice and helpful.

My last experience was not a fall, but just had extreme back pain. Life Alert was there when I needed them. I’m 91 years old and have had my Life Alert for many years for many problems and some were easily cared for, but 2 or 3 times they did save my life. I have enormous faith in Life Alert and tell all my friends to get Life Alert and the smart ones do.

Recently widowed, I was terrified when I had a terrible nose bleed and was alone. It was my first ever and didn’t know what to do. I pressed the button and help was sent quickly after Life Alert staff took information from me and I was off to the ER. I can only say positive things about the service and recommended it to a friend for her mother just this week.

I fell in my yard and immediately reached for my Life Alert pendant. Since I was outside I could not respond to the call from Life Alert but very shortly my neighbor showed up and almost immediately the ambulance was here and took me to the hospital. Very satisfying experience to know that help came very quickly.

I have used the Life Alert button several times in the last few years. The response team was actually at my door within seven minutes every time you summoned for them to show up here and transport me to the hospital. I appreciate you for staying in contact with me until the ambulance team arrived.

I fell on my kitchen tile floor and could not get up. Because I take a blood thinner, I began to bleed profusely. Since I was wearing my Life Alert pendant I pushed it and the nice woman who answered sent the paramedics and my son. I had to have 7 stitches in the back of my head. I could have bled to death.

My husband lost his balance, ended up on the floor and couldn’t get up. It was 2am and I was sleeping upstairs and didn’t hear him calling for help. Thank God for Life Alert and for being there to rescue him.

My mother’s blood pressure was low. She was having excessive edema in her lower legs and feet. Life Alert was notified and assisted with the notification of the rescue squad. She was taken to the ER and admitted to the hospital. Life Alert was very helpful and the staff are always nice.

I woke up about 4am to get something to eat and drink. When I sat down, my head felt funny. I then had dry hives several times and then vomited. Finally my chocolate drink came up. Next, I perspired until I was dripping wet with perspiration and my head was soaking wet. I called Life Alert and they were very helpful as usual. Thank you.
